Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Cloud Architecture: Architect and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions primarily on AWS (and Azure/GCP).
- CI/CD Pipeline: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to ensure rapid deployment.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement robust monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure system health and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage IAM policies, and ensure compliance with SOC2 and GDPR standards.
- Containerization: Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) and Docker.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, Software Development, and Security teams to drive technical initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
- Cloud Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with AWS (preferred) or Azure/GCP.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- IaC: Deep understanding of Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Containerization: Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Networking: Strong knowledge of networking concepts, load balancing, and DNS.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Remote Ready: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
