Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure changes reliably.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud resource usage and implement strategies to reduce operational costs without compromising performance.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage IAM roles, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, GDPR).
- Disaster Recovery: Plan and execute robust disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS or Azure services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Professional preferred.
