Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
- Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and speed.
- Ensure security compliance and implement best practices for data protection and access control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategy and architectural requirements.
- Drive migration projects to the cloud, ensuring zero downtime and business continuity.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
