Responsibilities
- Design & Deploy: Architect and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Cost Management: Monitor cloud resource utilization and implement strategies to optimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure adherence to industry compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA).
- Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, development, and security teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes.
- Monitoring: Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack) to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or related IT roles.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Containerization: Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Scripting: Advanced scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
