Responsibilities
- Architecture & Deployment: Design, deploy, and manage highly scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Automation: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) to automate deployment processes and reduce manual errors.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Infrastructure as Code: Leverage Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure changes programmatically.
- Collaboration: Partner with development and DevOps teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex cloud issues.
- Monitoring: Set up and manage monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure system health and 99.9% uptime.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Containers: Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
