Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of advanced AI models, focusing on scalability and efficiency for production environments.
- Design and implement novel neural network architectures for generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize model inference performance and reduce computational costs using techniques such as quantization and pruning.
- Conduct rigorous research to stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI trends, including reinforcement learning and multimodal learning.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for MLOps and data governance.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or artificial intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Extensive experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning techniques (e.g., LoRA, PEFT).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Track record of publishing research or delivering high-impact AI products.
