Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud applications using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via agile methodologies to deliver bi-weekly sprints
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance using AWS/GCP services
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to open-source projects and participate in virtual hackathons
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation
- Monitor system health and implement proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with cloud development experience
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless computing
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design expertise
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with async communication
- Portfolio demonstrating full-stack development projects
