Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to support business reporting and decision-making.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to present data trends clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and solve business problems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous testing, validation, and documentation of data pipelines.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports, summarizing findings and offering strategic recommendations.
- Maintain and optimize existing database queries for better performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Advanced querying, joins, stored procedures) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
