Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code for our core infrastructure and customer-facing applications.
- Debug complex issues and resolve technical blockers during off-peak hours to ensure system uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and technical mentoring of junior engineers.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security in accordance with industry best practices.
- Deploy updates and monitor system health using CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong proficiency with React, Node.js, or Angular and modern web frameworks.
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a night shift environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders.
