Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and Sentinel.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain robust firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training for internal employees to mitigate human error risks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design secure architectures for new applications and services.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, LogRhythm, or Azure Sentinel) and endpoint protection (CrowdStrike, Defender).
- Deep knowledge of network security protocols, VPNs, and encryption standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
