Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at 4K temperatures
- Develop error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
- Secure $2M+ in NSF and DoD quantum research grants
- Collaborate with IBM, Google, and IonQ on quantum cloud integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum circuit development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# programming frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Experience with dilution refrigerators and quantum control systems
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
