Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Lead breakthrough research in error correction and qubit stabilization
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical systems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming with frameworks like Qiskit or Cirq
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with quantum simulation tools like Q# or Quil
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
