Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype quantum processors
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Present findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and HPC environments
- Strong background in linear algebra and topological quantum systems
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Patent experience in quantum technologies
