Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Translate quantum algorithms into practical solutions for finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Present quantum computing roadmap to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control hardware
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams through complex research cycles
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Track record of commercializing quantum computing solutions
