Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Document and track software defects clearly in bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Collaborate closely with Developers and Product Managers to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform regression testing to ensure recent code changes do not negatively impact existing features.
- Analyze root causes of defects and assist in verifying fixes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality assurance policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, life cycles, and best practices (SDLC).
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and database querying.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment.
