Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual testing, exploratory testing, and regression testing to identify and document defects.
- Collaborate with software engineers to diagnose root causes of bugs and verify fixes in JIRA.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Analyze application behavior and user flows to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and software testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester or Software Tester.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python or JavaScript).
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
