Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software functionality and performance.
- Conduct manual and automated testing using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs with high precision using JIRA.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not break existing functionality.
- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and potential risks.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings within an Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and commit to a 12-week paid training curriculum.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in navigating Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
