Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen our security posture.
- Investigate security breaches and coordinate incident response efforts to minimize downtime.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CISM is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture.
- Proficiency in using security tools (e.g., Splunk, Snort, FireEye).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
