Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with developers.
- Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium or Cypress to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Regression Testing: Perform rigorous regression testing on every release to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs and database integrity to ensure backend systems are functioning correctly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.
- Reporting: Generate detailed test reports and analyze data to provide insights into application quality and stability.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, SQL, and RESTful APIs.
- Automation: Proficiency in at least one automation tool (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium).
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Tools: Experience with JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
