Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and manage VPN/firewall security protocols
- Document network topology and maintain up-to-date IPAM records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve connectivity issues within SLA
- Implement network security measures including ACLs and intrusion prevention systems
- Perform hardware upgrades and capacity planning for network infrastructure
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN protocols
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong problem-solving skills with network diagnostics experience
- Familiarity with VMware and cloud networking architectures
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Valid Kansas driver's license (for occasional site visits)
