Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) with 24/7 rotation support
- Conduct forensic investigations on malware, phishing, and DDoS attacks
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises quarterly
- Assess cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities using tools like Prisma Cloud and WAF
- Generate executive security reports and remediation roadmaps
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Lead penetration testing engagements for new client deployments
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat analysis (ISO 27001 experience preferred)
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expertise in NIST CSF frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK techniques
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong analytical skills with threat hunting methodology
- Valid US government clearance or ability to obtain (required for federal projects)
