Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
- Document and track defects in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and communicate clearly with developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to ensure seamless software delivery.
- Conduct regression testing after software updates to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Analyze system performance and scalability to optimize user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in QA methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, life cycles, and defect life cycles.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
