Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues via remote access and on-site visits
- Implement security protocols and monitor network traffic for anomalies
- Document network configurations using Visio and SolarWinds NPM
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during system upgrades and migrations
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for VoIP, VPN, and wireless infrastructure
- Conduct network performance optimization and capacity planning
- Train end-users on network security best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper certifications (CCNA/JNCIA preferred)
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with network security protocols (IPSec, SSL VPN, firewalls)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
