Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement security protocols and perform vulnerability assessments
- Document network infrastructure changes and configurations
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Provide Tier-3 support to enterprise clients during incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP protocols
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (required for site visits)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA Network+ within 6 months
- Excellent verbal communication skills for client interactions
