Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and other tracking tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and edge-case testing to ensure product stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to validate software functionality against requirements.
- Monitor application performance and provide actionable feedback to improve user experience.
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Tester or Software Test Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, life cycles, and quality assurance standards.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data validation.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
