Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software functionality and reliability.
- Bug Identification: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, providing clear and concise reproduction steps for developers.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing on new builds and releases to ensure existing features remain unaffected.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements, provide technical feedback, and facilitate the resolution of issues.
- Automation: Assist in the maintenance and execution of automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate test documentation, including status reports and test summary results.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
- Tools: Proficiency in testing tools such as JIRA, Postman, or Selenium is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SQL and/or REST APIs for database and API verification.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
