Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects (bugs) using JIRA or similar tools.
- Perform manual and automated regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Analyze root causes of defects and suggest process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) support and smoke testing for new releases.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a QA Tester or Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, life cycles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
