Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
- Bug Hunting: Identify, document, and track defects with precision using Jira, ensuring clear communication with developers.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated regression test suites using Selenium or Cypress to improve efficiency.
- API Testing: Perform API testing (RESTful) to validate backend functionality and data integrity.
- Regression Testing: Execute regression testing on every release to ensure new features do not break existing functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and resolve blockers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate test documentation and status reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Tools: Proficient in using Selenium, JIRA, and SQL databases.
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python or Java is a plus.
- Agile: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a passion for perfectionism.
