The Role:
As a QA Engineer at Apex Innovations, you will play a critical role in our software development lifecycle. You will bridge the gap between development and product management, ensuring our digital products are robust, user-friendly, and bug-free before they reach our customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Automate regression testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers in an Agile/Scrum environment to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability under heavy traffic.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong preference for candidates with Automation experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of web testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
- Experience with SQL databases for data validation and testing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
