Responsibilities
- Design & Optimize Prompts: Develop complex, multi-step prompts to extract high-quality outputs from generative AI models.
- Model Fine-Tuning: Collaborate with data scientists to curate training data and fine-tune models for specific industry verticals.
- Behavior Testing: Conduct rigorous testing to identify biases, hallucinations, and logical errors in AI responses.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt engineering best practices and system architectures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and developers to integrate AI capabilities into consumer-facing applications.
- Research: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI trends and techniques in natural language processing (NLP).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical writing, data annotation, or AI/ML operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Python and familiarity with APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
- Linguistic Ability: Exceptional command of English grammar, nuance, and creative writing.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex AI behaviors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, curious, and able to think abstractly about how machines interpret human language.
