Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test advanced prompt strategies for large language models
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt engineering with model capabilities
- Create and maintain prompt libraries with version control documentation
- Analyze prompt performance metrics and iterate for optimal outputs
- Develop guidelines for ethical AI interaction and bias mitigation
- Train stakeholders on prompt engineering best practices
- Research emerging LLM capabilities and integrate new techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
- 2+ years experience in prompt engineering or NLP development
- Proficiency with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Excellent written communication and analytical thinking skills
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects
- Familiarity with Python and prompt optimization frameworks
