Responsibilities
- Model Optimization: Design and implement complex prompt strategies to enhance the accuracy, safety, and creativity of LLM outputs.
- Collaboration: Partner with data scientists and product managers to define AI use cases and model behavior requirements.
- Iterative Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and user feedback analysis to continuously refine prompt libraries and improve model performance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt patterns, best practices, and optimization techniques for the engineering team.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest developments in NLP and prompt engineering methodologies to integrate innovative solutions.
- Integration: Work closely with backend developers to seamlessly integrate prompt workflows into production applications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or a related technical field with a focus on NLP.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with major LLM frameworks (OpenAI API, Hugging Face, LangChain).
- Language Mastery: Exceptional command of English grammar, syntax, and nuance to craft highly effective prompts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex AI behaviors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
