We're seeking a passionate Part-Time UX Designer to craft intuitive, human-centered digital solutions that delight users and drive business growth. This flexible role (20-25 hrs/week) offers remote collaboration options with occasional in-person workshops at our Old City studio. You'll work with Fortune 500 clients in healthcare, fintech, and e-commerce, shaping products used by millions. Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, persona development, and journey mapping to uncover pain points
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PMs, devs, stakeholders) to implement solutions
- Execute usability testing and iterate designs based on quantitative/qualitative feedback
- Develop and maintain design systems ensuring brand consistency across platforms
- Present design rationale and user insights to executive stakeholders
- Stay current with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX design experience with portfolio showcasing end-to-end projects
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools with strong prototyping skills
- Proven ability to translate user research into actionable design solutions
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design iterations
- Strong understanding of responsive design patterns and component libraries
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, HCI, or related field
- Proficiency in basic HTML/CSS for design handoff collaboration
