Responsibilities
- Conduct User Research: Perform user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and identify user needs and pain points.
- Design Prototypes: Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma and Adobe XD.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into visual designs.
- Design Systems: Maintain and contribute to our design system documentation to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Motion Design: Create subtle and engaging micro-interactions and animations to enhance the user experience.
- Usability Testing: Analyze testing data to iterate on designs and improve overall product performance.
Qualifications
- Portfolio Review: A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI projects, including case studies that demonstrate the design process from research to final delivery.
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), or InVision.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on part-time or freelance work.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts to non-technical audiences.
