Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for employees, ranging from password resets to complex system failures.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and manage help desk tickets accurately using our ITSM software to ensure timely resolution.
- User Support: Provide exceptional technical support via phone, email, and in-person, acting as a primary point of contact for IT inquiries.
- Hardware Maintenance: Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Software Installation: Install, update, and configure necessary applications and operating systems across the network.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to company security protocols and assist in the enforcement of IT policies.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and knowledge bases for the support team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role (Internships considered).
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; High school diploma required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Flexibility: Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends to support critical system updates.
