Job Description
Join our award-winning design team as a Part-Time UX Designer and transform user experiences for innovative clients across healthcare and e-commerce. We're seeking a creative problem-solver to collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver intuitive, human-centered digital solutions. This flexible 20-hour/week role offers remote work flexibility with occasional in-person workshops in our downtown Lincoln studio.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and persona development to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma
- Develop design systems and maintain consistent UI components across platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs
- Analyze user feedback and metrics to iterate on design solutions
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders through compelling documentation
- Stay current with UX trends and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience with a portfolio showcasing 10+ projects
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for implementation awareness
