Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Migration & Modernization: Lead the migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud, optimizing performance and reducing costs.
- Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to streamline deployment processes.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage IAM policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Monitoring: Utilize tools like CloudWatch and Datadog to monitor system health and troubleshoot complex issues in real-time.
- Collaboration: Partner with development teams to define cloud strategies and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or system administration.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in AWS or Azure, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Expert certification is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
