This flexible 20-hour/week role offers remote collaboration with occasional in-person workshops at our Boston Innovation Hub.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to implement design systems
- Analyze user behavior data to optimize conversion funnels
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Document design processes and maintain design consistency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX design experience with portfolio showcasing user-centered design
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, A/B testing)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design rationale
- Portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and visual design skills
