As a Part-Time QA Tester, you will work closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle, ensuring our digital solutions meet the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla.
- Perform regression testing to ensure recent code changes haven't introduced new issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide actionable feedback.
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to validate application functionality and performance.
- Document testing results and provide clear, concise insights for the engineering team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in QA methodologies.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Postman, Figma, Chrome DevTools).
- Basic understanding of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a 'quality-first' mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
