Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify functional defects and usability issues
- Document bugs with detailed steps, screenshots, and severity levels in Jira
- Perform regression testing on web and mobile applications across multiple browsers/devices
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations for quality improvements
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and test environment configurations
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in manual QA testing or related quality assurance roles
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, or similar)
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing
- Excellent written communication skills for clear defect documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
