Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, configure, and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform routine network audits, updates, and security patches to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Assist in physical network cabling and infrastructure setup for new client deployments.
- Respond to help desk tickets and provide technical support for end-users regarding network connectivity issues.
- Document network configurations and changes accurately in our ticketing system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar certification is a plus.
- Proven experience with network troubleshooting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site client visits.
