Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Perform routine maintenance on structured cabling and network infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and hardware failures.
- Document network configurations and changes accurately.
- Assist in the deployment of new network solutions and security patches.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure high availability of network services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within Jacksonville.
