Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect sensitive data
- Document network configurations, procedures, and incident reports
- Provide technical support to end-users via remote and on-site assistance
- Collaborate with team members on network upgrades and system integrations
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
