Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on vulnerability assessments and compliance
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Mentor junior IT staff and optimize system performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud services and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Proven ability to manage enterprise-scale infrastructure and SLAs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
