Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively address issues
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for LAN/WAN systems and connectivity problems
- Document network configurations, changes, and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Train staff on network best practices and security protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or Network Administration (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper equipment and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
