Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure multi-cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and scalability through continuous monitoring and automation
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms using DevOps best practices
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions for seamless deployments
- Collaborate with security teams to implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support with rotational scheduling
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Azure Solutions Architect)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architectures
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure automation tools
- Proven experience with CI/CD methodologies and monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus)
- Understanding of network security principles and cloud security best practices
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours while meeting SLAs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in incident response and root cause analysis
