Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues and service tickets with minimal downtime.
- Perform regular system maintenance, firmware updates, and security patching.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement scalable network solutions.
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate technical records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience working with Cisco networking equipment and VoIP systems.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex network problems.
- Ability to lift and move networking equipment and work in various environments.
