Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Manage and prioritize incoming help desk tickets and escalate complex issues to senior technicians.
- Perform routine system updates, security patches, and backups under supervision.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions in the ticketing system.
- Support the setup of conference rooms and audio-visual equipment for meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot common technical errors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Must be available to work a flexible part-time schedule, including some evenings or weekends.
