Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on equity options trading platforms
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in real-time using SIEM tools
- Develop and implement encryption protocols for sensitive financial data
- Collaborate with trading teams to ensure compliance with SEC/NASD regulations
- Document security procedures and create incident response playbooks
- Perform regular audits of access controls for trading systems
- Stay current on emerging threats in financial services cybersecurity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with financial systems or fintech
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP certification
- Deep understanding of equity options trading mechanics and risk factors
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and security automation tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and financial compliance standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
