Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents on equity options trading platforms during night shifts
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for financial systems
- Implement and maintain SIEM protocols for real-time threat detection
- Collaborate with trading teams to harden options infrastructure against attacks
- Develop incident response playbooks for financial data breaches
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Document security procedures and provide executive reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP required
- Expertise in options trading systems and financial protocols
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with night shift security operations
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and cloud security
- Ability to work independently during off-hours with minimal supervision
